£3 million boost for Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks

New accommodation

Demand for luxury caravan holidays has risen by 77% in the past five years and now Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks is further catering to this fast-growing market with the launch of Emerald caravans, just part of a £3 million investment in 2025, following a similar input last year.

The new caravans, located in prime spots with stunning views, offer at least 15% more living space and feature fully-furnished interiors, high-quality kitchens with dishwashers, spacious living areas with large TVs and DVD players, and private decking with outdoor furniture and gas barbecues. Further exceeding guest expectations there is an en-suite shower room to the spacious master bedroom and full-size tub in the family bathroom, both rarities for caravans.

The Emerald caravans include a number of designated caravans accepting families bringing their dog adding to Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks’ growing number of pet-friendly accommodation, again reflecting a trend for families to take their pets away with them, which has increased by 72% in the past five years.

Additionaly in 2025 all accommodation now guarantees double glazing, central heating, fridge-freezers and larger TVs even in entry-level grades.

Guests can now find dog-friendly areas in all-day café bars, pet packs and a Woof Park play area for pets, opened last year (2024).
