Dog friendly accommodation in Woolacombe: Woof Guide
We love dogs in Woolacombe
As dog owners ourselves, we understand dog owners. This means we understand the importance of having dog friendly accommodation in Woolacombe. For this very reason all 3 of our North Devon Holiday Parks; Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen House and Easewell Farm, are dog friendly. Another bonus of visiting Woolacombe with your dog is that they are also free to enjoy Woolacombe Sands Beach (more details below).
Dogs at Woolacombe Bay
South facing with stunning views across the bay, to Lundy Island and the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Almost 200 metres above sea level with nothing between us and North America, this family caravan park is breathtaking.
There's a designated dog-friendly area in our Bait Ball Bar & Restaurant along with the adjoining spacious outdoor terrace, you’ll find plenty of water out for them too.
There are walks to suit all tastes and activity levels. Three footpaths lead to and from the Park, surrounded by miles of spectacular National Trust parkland, quaint villages and dramatic coastline. Boundaries don’t exist here so you can walk to your heart’s content or take a stroll with your pet to the beach in about 15 minutes, it’s not too far away.
Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park has glorious views over the valley and its own 11-acre exercise area full of young trees and rabbits. That’s pretty good dog friendly entertainment!
Dogs at Twitchen House
The name means ‘meeting of paths’ and it lives up to the name, as Twitchen House Holiday Park is criss-crossed with them. Set amid a stunning countryside setting and mature woodland, it’s a magnet for those who enjoy country walks.
Dog-friendly dining is available in a designated part of our Bar 51 all-day café bar, it's got a lovely outside terrace overlooking the outdoor pool and sports area too.
We welcome dogs in our self-catering caravan accommodation and Camping & Touring areas, read more details about our different types of pitches available for your dog-friendly camping holiday. All our dog-friendly accommodation is situated within easy access to trails, paths and walks.
Walks here are endless, head inland or take our footpath down to any of Woolacombe’s finest beaches and grassy headlands and meet up with the breath-taking South West Coastal Path.
It’s a lovely trail to the beach through the woods, emerging into the gorse and bracken covered Twitchen Valley.
Dogs at Easewell Farm
Originally a working farm, now the home to Mortehoe & Woolacombe Golf Club, and one of the most beautiful dog friendly touring parks in the country.
We welcome dogs across the Park and inside The Easewell Arms, a quiet and friendly bar, open daily.
Easewell Farm Holiday Park is perfect for those looking to unwind, with unforgettable rural and sea views as well as unhindered access to coastal paths and glorious countryside. This includes Kinevor Valley, Mortehoe, Rockham Bay, Bull Point Lighthouse and footpaths to Lee Bay and beyond.
